Kenny worked nights the weekend of Mother's Day, but he still found a way to make it special for me. When he got home from work Sunday morning he made me breakfast in bed (Jillian's Hotcakes, a veggie omelet, turkey bacon, and a berry smoothie). On the breakfast tray was a bouquet of flowers, too. Instead of going to bed like he would normally do, he went to church with us and helped in Primary so I could go to Relief Society. Earlier in the week he had asked what I wanted for Mother's Day and I told him I would like some new necklaces since I don't usually buy myself accessories. So he bought me some necklaces and he bought me a new outfit (he had some help with a sales lady and a mannequin). Kenny lost some sleep in order to spend the day with me and Logan (since he had to go back to work that night), but it turned out to be a really good day.
