I know it's been a while . . .
Sorry, it has been a while since I have last posted anything new. I have a lot to post, I just don't have a lot of time right now. Next week is Spring Break, so maybe I will have a little time to do some stuff on here! :-)

My last couple of days . . .
Yesterday morning I noticed my cat, Tiger, was drooling/foaming at the mouth a lot and it looked like there was blood on his nose. Well I took him into work with me that afternoon (I now work at the Animal Hospital I used to work for) and the Vet took a look at him. She diagnosed him as having either a chemical or electrical burn--so either he got into some type of cleaner or solvent, or somehow licked a hot wire somewhere. The poor thing has a raw bleeding nose and the front 1/3 of his tongue has all the taste buds burned off. I feel so bad for him--he seems so miserable! I looked all over my house for anything that he could have gotten into, but I couldn't find anything! I really don't know. So I have to give him injections 2x a day and a topical medication for his nose. Luckily I get a really good discount working there! :-) Speaking of work, I have been able to apply what I am getting my degree in. I have been able to do some blood tests and some urinalyses in the animal hospital lab. It's been pretty cool!
I had two mid-terms this morning that were pretty rough! My Anat. & Phys. test was at 7:30am and I don't know how well I did on it. I didn't get to really study for it because I had a Microbiology test at 10am which covered six chapters! I got an 98.5% on my last Micro. test so I wanted to do just as good on this one, but I think I will be glad to get a B on it. And as for my A & P test . . . well, not a good idea to not really study for it, however I do feel like I did better on this one than I did on my last test that I actually studied for. Kind of weird. Along with my two mid-terms today I had A & P lab in which we take two quizzes and my lab instructor does not write easy quizzes! Anyway, now I am just rambling--I've up since 4:30am to study. Now I am letting my brain rest.

Kenny and I went and saw I Am Legend at the Dollar theater last night and I must say I hated every minute of it. Kenny had been bugging me about going to see it since it came out in theaters, and at first I wanted to. Then I had heard a few things about it and decided I knew it was a movie I wasn't going to like very much. Well, it was at the dollar theater and he asked me again, so I finally gave in. As soon as it started I knew I was going to hate it. I didn't mind the ending--I know some people didn't like the ending--but that I was okay with. It was everything else that I hated. I am sorry to those of you whom have seen it and liked it, I just knew that I would come out of it with a bad feeling and nightmares . . . and I did. Last night I kept having nightmares about it until 3am, then I finally got up and put in Ratatouille (spell?) to get my mind off the nightmares. I ended up watching Ratatouille about twice through before I dared go back to sleep. I don't remember having nighmares again, but I woke up around 7:30am and haven't really slept since. I am glad I didn't have to work today! Overall, I think they did a good job with the movie, but it wasn't a movie I enjoyed one bit. I tried falling asleep in the theater, but that was no good, then I contemplated walking out--but that wouldn't be fair to Kenny, so I endured. Anyway, that was my Friday night after I got off work.
