Since my life is fairly boring right now (school and work), I thought I would post some fun things that I did before I started a blog. Below is a slideshow of a trip Kenny and I took to Carson City last June to move Ryan back to Idaho from Nevada. The slideshow is mainly of our trip to the beautiful Lake Tahoe and a paddleboat that we took across the lake.

Summer

Okay, so I survived finals a couple weeks ago and everything turned out alright. I ended up with a C overall in my Anat. and Phys. class which I was excited about because I was afraid that I was going to fail it and that would pretty much set me behind a whole year in school. :-( I got an A in my Microbiology class and an A- in my Micro lab. I really liked Micro though--and I had a good teacher. My other classes turned out okay as well.

Now I am in summer classes, Immunology and Pathophysiology, and I have been in them for a week now. I have Immunology lecture for five more weeks, then the lab for another six weeks after that. My Pathophysiology class is online and really confusing! One third of our grade is our participation in discussions online with the other students on different case studies and some of the things that my classmates are talking about I haven't even heard of! But I try to throw my two cents in when I can. Did I mention that my textbook is over 1500 pages and in that scientific jargon that nobody really understands--it's just written that way so the author just sounds smart? It's fun to read. This class goes for another 5 weeks as well. It will be a busy summer!

I got my acceptance letter into the Clinical Lab. Science program in the mail this weekend so I was pretty excited about that! So I will be able to start my program classes this fall (whew!). They are: Clinical Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Microbiology, Molecular Lab Methods, Intro to CLS, and Clinical Immunolgy/Transfusions. Overall 17 credits (are you praying for me yet?). I am nervous and excited, but I am starting to get to know some of the students who are going into the program with me, so it is nice to have friends to study with. Anyway, that is all--back to studying...

Finals

Sorry I haven't upated my blog, but it is finals week, so I have been studying hard (naturally). So I will post something, hopefully, by the end of the week.
